Stova is an event management platform for conferences, trade shows, sales kickoffs and virtual and hybrid events. It was formed from Aventri, MeetingPlay and eventcore, and it is the successor to Aventri: the old aventri.com address now leads to Stova.
What happened to Aventri?
Aventri merged with MeetingPlay in 2022, and the combined company bought eventcore, an event registration company. The three brands were then renamed Stova. If you used Aventri, Stova is where its customers and products went.
Who is Stova for?
Stova suits event teams that run conferences, trade shows, sales kickoffs and regional events and want one platform from registration to reporting. It publishes package prices, which is unusual among the larger event platforms, and its first package already includes a virtual platform for hybrid events.
What are Stova's main features?
Registration and planning
Stova covers configurable registration templates and workflows, group bookings, discount codes, incentive rules and waitlists. It also handles session and speaker management, abstracts, and meeting approvals and budgets.
Virtual and hybrid sessions
Its Virtual Experience and Webinars product lets you run each session live, pre-recorded, simu-live or from an RTMP feed. Remote attendees get a branded virtual lobby with schedules, sponsor placements, chat, polls and Q&A. You can switch between virtual and hybrid formats if a speaker cannot travel, without rebuilding the program.
Attendance and certificates
Stova tracks dwell time across the virtual foyer and sessions, recognizes attendance by how long someone engaged, and sends certificates of attendance automatically.
Onsite and exhibitors
Onsite, Stova offers badge printing, self-service check-in, session check-in and access control, plus lead retrieval and an Exhibitor Resource Center for exhibitors.
How much does Stova cost?

What do users say about Stova?
Stova holds about 4.2 out of 5 on G2 from 198 reviews, based on a G2 page checked on 1 November 2026. Reviewers praise the support team and call the platform reliable and flexible. The main complaint is navigation: some find the back end full of tabs and steps.
When should you choose an alternative?
- You want the highest-rated attendee app. Whova and vFairs score higher on G2.
- You need the widest enterprise suite. Cvent covers more of a large event program.
- You only run webinars. Livestorm is simpler.
